During the last few years the company has experienced a sharp growth, which includes: regional sales development, agricultural machinery sales, the involvement of new distributon channels and a significant increase in the number of staff. Currently
there are 43 employees, with half of the staff directly involved in sales. All of the sales people have both the relevant agricultural education and valuable professional experience.

The majority of our regular customers make purchases direct from the company retail shop. Our ranges are available to both professional farmers and hobby growers. Our professional agronomists consult with our customers to understand their requirements. Agrimatco Latvia has established and developed a direct sales service covering all regions of Latvia.

Every region has its own sales manager who visits farmers in the covered territory providing the necessary advisory and delivery services.

The company has a very wide network of distributors selling its goods throughout the territory of Latvia. Additionally, the company co-operates also with hortcultural product producers and foresries. Agrimatco Latvia has won several tenders organized by the state enterprises. Cooperation with sales agents and producers is co-ordinated by the company wholesale unit.

Traditionally, in the local market the most important products have been professional seeds, plant protection products, gardening tools and accessories and also agricultural machinery. The company has introduced to the Latvian market several innovative products. Every product line is under responsibility of its own product manager looking after the product marketing and development matters. There are two separate units in charge of seed and pesticide sale development. We also have a specialised division to co-ordinate agricultural machinery sales operations. The company offers machinery maintenance service performed by professional engineer.

"Agrimatco Latvia" has become a reliable sales partner for the extensive range of agricultural products that we supply, together with several products which we repack ourselves, including repacking of fertilisers and bulk seed into smaller packaging suitable for our customers throughout Latvia. The company has developed a special range of seeds for hobby growers, providing professional seeds in small size seed bags under the brand of "Agrimatco Latvia". This product range is well appreciated in the local market and has also been exported to other Baltic countries. "Agrimatco Latvia" seed bags were well appraised by the Latvian Chamber of Trade and Commerce at the “Made in Latvia” trade fair.

The company has several historical traditions. Every new season "Agrimatco Latvia" starts with a special Party for their customers and co-operation partners. In season time there are special training seminars and Customer Days during farmers are informed about the company new products and taught to exploit the new advantages in their farming job. Several events annualy are made with participation of the main supplier and manufacturer representatives.

At the end of summer there are traditional "Agrimatco Latvia" Field Days. The event is usually hosted by the one of the largest and most developed local farms. During spring time field trials are held at the farm for new seed varieties and means of plant protection and later, together with other farmers, the harvest is evaluated.

The company makes also special educational excursions. "Agrimatco Latvia" sales people together with farmers have visited several seed and agricultural machinery suppliers and producers abroad.
